Jose,I know you had serious login problems but...you went ahead and started animation when you did not have your required work done. This has made it difficult to get marks ready for your midterm report. It has also resulted in you submitting a thrown together project when you are capable of much better. You need to focus. You still do not have any abstract digital paintings done. If necessary I can get you into the lab at lunch to catch up.
As for the piece of work above, although the gradient looks very effective you have not selected your hairline very tightly and so there is a white glow around your head that makes it look pasted on. The lighting on your neck does not blend with the "crack" and so that too looks pasted on. As I said, you are capable of much more sophisticated work than this.
